Ok, time for an update, here it goes!

Due to an unfortunate number of horribly unsuitable messages, here are a few tips;
If you “work hard, play harder” don’t bother! If you’ve lied about your age, for any reason, you’re not my kind of people. If you don’t like cats, kids, or music of all kinds, I’ll never be able to invite you to my home. If you’re over 40 and/or bald I’m not interested. If you party all the time or do drugs, save yourself some time and pass me by! If you’re looking for some casual NSA, it’s not going to be with me. And please, if you’ve taken a photo of all your purdy muscles and posted it on your profile, keep on fishing! I hope I haven't terribly offended anyone, I'm really just trying to save some time!

That being said, if you’re a nice guy who enjoys watching movies, eating in, dining out, hiking, thunderstorms, traveling to warmer places, random road trips, adventures, can carry a decent conversation, is honest, trustworthy, funny, caring, motivated, takes care of themselves, by all means, please drop me a line! Heck, if half those things sound about right, I’d be pleased to hear from you.

A little about me;
I’m a mom, a pretty darn good one at that. My daughter is a fabulous child who takes up a good portion of my time. She’s quirky and silly and absolutely brilliant. Her laughter is my favourite sound in the whole world!
I’m also an aspiring actor. I received my diploma in acting this past May. I’m now trying to break into the big bad world of film and television, which makes me a little crazy. Good crazy, but crazy non-the-less;)While I’m waiting for that proverbial break, I sling beers at a neighbourhood pub, which strangely, I love. I like the people I work with and my customers are fantastic.

I love to travel, can be quite the homebody at times, enjoy contradicting myself (silly gemini) appreciate a good game of cribbage, love reading, writing, singing, (although I try to do that one more when I’m by myself;) drinking red wine, cooking, and life. I really love being alive! I'm the kind of person who says hello to complete strangers, makes friends with the person at my local video store, and has absolutely no problem making a fool of myself in public to make someone else smile. All in all, I’m generally a pretty happy person however there are a few things that can make me frown…people that spell a lot (alot), people that aren’t punctual, socks with sandals, bad drivers...

I'm afraid of spiders, have a thing for being on the right hand side, read at crazy hours of the night (insomniac) and have a lunatic for a cat. I believe in ghosts, the afterlife, and reincarnation. I believe there is a power out there greater than myself. I like a good debate, a grilled steak and a full bodied glass of wine. In fact, those three things together make for a pretty great night!

I'm looking to fall in love again someday. My heart is open and has room to grow. I believe in magic and fate and maybe if I'm truly blessed the right person with the right chemistry for me will read this and think, "hey, that's it!"

First date? Gosh, it's been a while since I've even thought of one.
Ideally I'd like to start off gently. A walk around a park, just getting to know one and other. Maybe followed by a a tea or a bite to eat. I really like food! I'm into the arts, so an independent film or some live music somewhere. I suppose it would depend on how good that walk was!
