The internet is the new medium for meeting people you might not meet in your daily life and I'm never one to shy away from an opportunity at new friendships; life's too short to not meet as many amazing people as possible. And I'm still semi-new to Van.
I'll start by saying that first and foremost, I love to laugh. I think it's the cure to any ailment. I'm a Westcoast girl through and through: I love sports, the gym, outdoor recreation, and I love watching live games, especially hockey. I could chill all day at the beach in the summer, spend hours at laidback bbqs and dance until the sunrises with my friends. Admittedly, for better or worse I'm stubborn and independent as hell, I definatly enjoy a good debate. I believe in karma; therefore, I try to have a positive impact on the world. As for relationships I think it's better to be alone and happy than with someone who isn't making your life that much more fabulous, I don't believe in settling. There's more to know, but let's leave a little mystery...
I'm interested in meeting people who are also laidback and don't take the small quirks of life too seriously. I like to surround myself with people who genuinely enjoy life and want to see all that it has to offer. A strong sense of confidence and a great sense of humour are at the top of my list. And if you've got a little bit of the adventure and mischievious bug inside you then we should get along just fine...

I think a first date should be casual and fun. Hopefully share some laughs, stories and have a great time.
