So I'm supposed to talk about myself and not sound like I'm trying to show off.

A little about me. . .I hold two Bachelors of Science degrees and am currently working on completing my MBA. I am a Director of Human Resources for a national company based out of Hickory. I own my home and my car. I love to cook, curl up with a good book, watch movies, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, off-roading, paintball, Hockey (Go Avalanche!), football, Lacrosse, wine, dining out, bar-b-ques, and hanging out with my friends and playing Rock Band or just goofing off. My taste in music ranges from heavy metal to country. I have a very good sense of humour and can laugh at anything. I am pretty goofy after you get to know me and can do a wide range of impressions. I work hard but play even harder!

I am looking for someone who can laugh and realize that not every aspect of life is serious. I would like someone who can be flexible and can go with the flow. Someone who likes to go out to a fancy dinner or bowling or just staying home and doing nothing at all. I am very active in life but can stay at home too. Someone that is there to enjoy the good times and stands beside me through the not so good. Life is a challenge: rise to it.

What I am NOT looking for: DRAMA! I have worked very hard to build a core base of friends who do not have issues that require my involvment or effect me. I guess I've been lucky about that but it makes for a much better nights sleep, better dinners, and most of all, better memories.

I am still very new to the area and exploring everything that NC has to offer. I can't figure out what else to put in here but I am an open book and always available to chat. I hope to hear from you soon!

Dinner and an activity like putt-putt golf, bowling, wine tastings. . .anything where we can talk and get to know each other. Movies are ok but I feel a little weird sitting next to someone I'm interested in getting to know and not being able to talk. A coffee or lunch date would be great too.
