Hello,

A brief introduction:
I am easy going but have opinions. I'm intelligent with common sense and a healthy dose of skepticism (it's in the scientific training), but posess enough humility that talking like this about myself feels weird. I have a sense of humour that is sarcastic, black and often self-depreciating. I have patience for many things but devolve into a rant from time-to-time.

What I'm up to:
Finishing up my MSc in zoology. Next is a PhD, hence the 'boffin' as occupation. I enjoy science and the natural world.

Random points:
- I'm more of a country type.
- I like the concept of 'slow food'-I can cook and bake.
- I could sail before I could drive.
- I like rain.
- I'd prefer not to inherit children or furkids (i.e. pets that are treated as children). Artificially selected pocket dogs aren't good.
- I think mammals are overrated (primates especially).
- I have a 'green thumb' and wish I had a bigger garden.
- I like the words: gink, but not authority.
- I do like Rammstein.
