Honestly, I do not enjoy online dating, but how else can you make yourself available to thousands of women and break the ice at the touch of a button. I try to avoid smoke filled bars, blowing money on overpriced drinks, it gets old. I don’t mind it once in great while, it is good to get out. I do know how to have a good time. I just feel like there are more important things in life. I love to take a woman out to dinner. It has to be one of the greatest ways to get to know each other, call me old fashioned. I am easy going, down to earth, confident, and I have an open mind. I have a great attitude, very responsible, and I am proud of what I have, I have worked hard for it. I know I may sound very serious, but I have a sense of humor, always have, and always will. I just want you to know that I am for real about finding you. When we talk, whether it’s by computer or by phone you will see that I can joke around, but you will also know that I am honest, loyal, real, and genuine. I am a father of an 11 year old boy. My parents have been married for over 40 years and my grandparents over 60 years. I am all about having a relationship, but realize it may take some time getting to know each other before things get serious, that’s fine!

My Mother had a sign above the kitchen sink growing up. It said “Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you!” It's called the golden rule. I teach this to my son and I apply it in many situations in my life. So in other words, “Treat people the way you want to be treated.” I’m not saying I am perfect, but having morals and beliefs is important and I think it says a lot about a person.

A perfect day for me would be a day on the water, preferably Lake Michigan. Having a picnic on the beach or boat, playing in the water, tubing, wakeboarding, climbing the dunes, relaxing with friends or someone you care about, that’s fun to me. If you are a golfer that is a bonus, but it's ok if you don't, I'm a good teacher as long as you're willing to learn. I really have'nt played much since I have taken up boating!

I have worked in the same field for over 7 years now and don’t plan on changing occupations. I enjoy what I do and I always have every weekend off.

I mentioned earlier that I have a son. He lives with me fulltime. We stay pretty busy during the week with his sports and school and my hobbies. He does go to his Moms every other weekend, and in the summer he usually spends a week with her and then a week with me, back and forth. It’s crazy, but more normal nowadays, I can’t imagine what that’s like, because my parents are married. He does well with it, he is smart and tough!

As far as music goes I listen to everything, not that picky when it comes to music.
