Hi! I am the type of person that enjoys being around people whether it be friends, family, or even my students. I am very family-oriented. As you could probably guess, I enjoy being around kids and look forward to having a family of my own someday. I am an elementary school teacher and I love my job. The only negative to my job is the lack of male teachers at the elementary level, so as a result it is basically impossible to meet a guy at work. So, here I am seeing what adventures this process might lead to.

I appreciate the simple things in life. I enjoy relaxing at home watching a movie, listening to music, playing with my dogs, spending time with friends and family, and watching/going to baseball/hockey games or motorcycles races. I also enjoy being in the outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather California usually offers. Hiking is one of my favorite activities, with Big Sur being a favorite destination. I love to travel and experience new places and new things whenever I have the opportunity, especially if they are near water or the mountains.

I am interested in meeting a guy who enjoys being active, is family-oriented, and knows what he wants out of life. Ideally I'm looking for a guy who is done dating for the sake of dating and is now dating for a purpose. Someone who is looking for someone to enjoy their life with whether it be relaxing at home or traveling the world together.

I don't think it really matters what you do on the first date, what matters most is your comfort level and getting an opportunity to learn more about each other to see if there is a connection.
