Holding hands on a long walk, cuddling and kissing on the couch at the end of a long day, feeling my heart melt when he walks in the room, talking until the middle of the night, knowing someone better than anyone else does - these are all things I miss because I don't have a special man in my life.

I'm a happy lady who wears a smile most of the time. I live a pretty drama free life and I like it that way, thank you very much. I think I do a pretty good job of striking balance in my life and my friends would tell you that most of life's stresses just roll off my back. I'm their go-to-girl for advice, venting and good company. My humor strays to the sarcastic side from time-to-time and I have been called a smart-ass on more than one occasion.

I'm intelligent and educated and I have my life pretty well together. I'm looking for a guy who can keep up with and challenge me intellectually. So, if you're the kind of guy who's intimidated by that or just really wants to find a fixer-uper, I'm not your girl. I'm also not nearly as conservative as people often think when they first meet me.

I enjoy hiking, going to the gym, movies, dining out, traveling, photography, music and just hanging out with the special people in my life. I like being active and keeping fit by exercising several times a week (mostly walking, training for the CIM relay, hiking and biking - and weights at the gym). While I'm no Barbie - I'm way lower maintenance :) - I am confident in my appearance and accomplishments and have a smile that lights up a room, great legs and deep blue eyes.

Giving back is important to me and I volunteer with Junior Achievement to provide kids with skills to hopefully make good life, career and financial choices.

I enjoy letting loose and having fun outside of work and am comfortable in elegant or casual situations. You can take me just about anywhere and I'll fit right in. I really enjoy and have truly come to appreciate the gift of having a man in my life to share my personal side with - lots of cuddles, laughs, adventures, conversations, flirtations and sparks. I'm responsible in my professional and personal life, but I'm also a lighthearted optimist who enjoys life's simple and funny moments. I'm a supportive, honest and loyal friend and partner. I am a genuine person hoping to find the same. I really appreciate a guy who's not afraid to take the initiative at least some of the time.

I'd love to find a stand-up guy with an edge (not boring - keep me on my toes) who's able to enjoy my fun-loving nature, my sense of humor, my intelligence and not be afraid to encourage and enjoy my sensual/passionate side. He should be affectionate, passionate, able to laugh at himself and make me laugh, unafraid to communicate (I'm pretty straightforward and appreciate that in a man as well), and hopefully able to reach all that stuff on the top shelf for me. Someone who can enjoy getting a quick phone call, a playful e-mail or flirtatious text message from me. Someone who is in an emotional place to choose to really be with me if we hit it off. I have a lot of respect for guys who have worked hard to achieve success in some aspect of their lives, whether it be professionally or personally. For me, compatibility is important, but so is chemistry. I miss the happiness and excitement that comes from feeling lit up from the inside by an intriguing man.

I should mention that I have a beautiful kindegarten aged daughter who is with me 4 days a week (although I have friends and family who give me a break when I need it). I have a large part of my weekends free. While I'm a great mom, I also value having a grown-up relationship in my life and I'm also willing to make that special guy a priority.
