Just getting back to NJ after being in Ohio for the past few years. My friends and family are what is most important to me although I am very committed to my career. I am in the process of changing jobs and am excited for the new challenges that I will be faced with in the next year!

To briefly describe myself... I am fun, confident, outgoing, intelligent, passionate... you can say I fit the mold for the "middle child" which I happen to be... or someone who is in sales which I also happen to be in. The relationships that I have in my life are what I value the most so I remain very well balanced in my professional and personal life. I love love love traveling! There isn't any one place that I wouldn't want to visit. Italy is my favorite place to travel to, but would love to see more of Europe. Not in the near future, but at some point I will definitely get to Africa too!

I am looking for someone who doesn't take himself or life too seriously, but is also ambitious, intelligent and confident. I like men who know what they are looking for and have a strong sense of self. I don't believe that people should change who they are just to try and be more compatible with someone... I am not interested in "changing" someone to turn them into my ideal. For me, opposites do not really attract. I love to laugh and have a great time, but being able to hold deeper conversations when appropriate is very much needed. I have dated people that I am not compatible with intellectually and it hasn't really worked out for me, so I'd like to stress the importance of meeting someone who is a great conversationalist and able to talk about many different types of things.

I hope to find someone who enjoys the finer things in life but isn't consumed by money or materialism. I love fine dining, wine, etc and am hoping to take advantage of the many things NYC has to offer but also value my down time and even time spent alone. I thrive off of people with good energy and really try to only surround myself with people who are passionate about life, their family, their jobs, their hobbies, etc. I am a realist with a very positive outlook on life and don't mesh well with pessimism or negativity. Drama does not play a part in ANY of my relationships as I don't play games and don't waste time trying to read into things that aren't there. I am honest and upfront about what I am thinking and feeling which makes for less miscommunication later on down the road.

I'd say I am very well balanced and have a good head on my shoulders. I am someone that you would be very proud to be around your friends, coworkers and family!!
