I am searching for something that I have not found yet; that person that even when I am away from them my thoughts cannot help but drift back to them. So my first real question is this site real; is anyone truly looking for a real relationship; someone to share things with.

A BBQ, a walk in the park, cooking dinner together, a Sunday just lounging around in t-shirts and boxers. I would consider myself a very independent man who has never really counted on anyone; but find myself wanting to share life with someone. Some look for perfection; but I believe that imperfection is perfect. I love to cook and find pleasure in feeding friends that enjoy a good meal. A good Italian meal and a great bottle of wine just cannot be beat... When I say friends, I am talking the people who come into your life and mean something.

I have lived a good life, and have had my share of difficulties as so many of us have. I enjoy a good game of darts; can hold my own in pool and I am a real movie buff. I also enjoy fishing but have not been in such a long time. I have lived in San Antonio for 14 years and consider this home now; originally from Delaware. (WHERE THE HECK IS THAT)....lol. I am hoping to find someone that tries to have a positive outlook on life as troubling as it may seem sometime...I consider myself articulate, funny, loving, and sensual so I am looking for a woman who is sensual, loving, understanding, articulate, passionate and funny. I love to laugh but laughing with the company of someone good is always nice. I enjoy quiet evenings at home; and I am past the club scene even though I do not mind going out with friends every once in a while. Wondering if there are any good ones left.

Someone told me once that all they wanted was one to prove that all the rest wrong...I guess that is what I am looking for. I finally realized in life that to be truly happy you have to be happy with yourself first.

A first date would be somewhere we could get to know each other. You know that they can be difficult....so I'm open to most things as long as it does not feel like I'm on a job interview...lol

My feelings are if we connect we do if we do not we do not. We are all adults...(well most of us)...So let's just act like it no false aires or being pretentious....With me you're not going to meet my stunt double. By that, I mean what you see is what you get...The man you meet is the man I am...With that said... Depending on how comfortable we found each other’s company; maybe a nice quiet restaurant with a couple of glasses of wine. Then maybe a light dinner followed by a walk.

I believe you need to spend time with a person out to see if you are compatible; once we had, we could decide whether to go somewhere fun or whether there would be a second date. I would love to maybe go to one of the local parks and have a picnic basket lunch and talk.
