| | I am honest, sincere, trustworthy, and loving. I enjoy people who are happy with themselves and find no need to belittle others to make themselves feel good. I do not play head games and am not interested in someone who does. I am looking for someone who will become my best friend before being my intimate partner. I recently retired from a very diverse 30 year career in the criminal justice field. It has also been three years since my husband and best friend died. I am devotely loyal to those I care about and have an easy going personality despite what my former clients might say. I am a lady who likes to be treated like one, but I am not high maintenance. I find enjoyment in the little things in life, am very much a romantic, would like to meet someone who will treat me romatically, am as comfortable in jeans as formal attire and I look good in both.
I am slim, somewhat physically fit, and have large green eyes that show up blue depending on what I wear. I am not a raving beauty, who is at age 56; although I have been told I am not hard on the eyes. I am not afraid of getting my fingernails dirty, but generally would prefer not to. I have been known to take life too seriously, and therefore, I enjoy the company of those who make me laugh. I find laughter and close friends the best medicines we have in life.
We all have our limitations, and one of my faults is that I am technologically challenged. That is only one of the reasons I don't have a photo posted.
Some of things I want to do in the next 5 years: Take my grandson to visit all the sites in Washington D.C., sail on a cruise to Hawaii, again take a helicopter ride over the glaciers in Alaska, go on a hot air balloon ride, and see the sunrise from the Grand Canyon. |
