Hi. My name is Jon and I have lived in Orlando since graduating from the University of Florida in 1992. I live in the Conway area close to downtown and own my own home. I am self-employed and always have been. I own a small garden center,landscaping, and pest control company. As you might guess, I love to be outdoors doing just about anything. I'm very active and not the type of person who wants to relax my way through life.

I'm basically a jeans and T-shirts guy who loves to work and play hard. I keep it simple and honest and make the most of every day. The way I figure it, I've only got about 100 years to do something worthwhile, after that I can rest...hopefully for eternity. I am well rounded in general and have a strong sense of purpose. Although I am 40, I feel and look much younger (no gray hairs and not balding). Most days, I think I'm still 30. That's a good thing I think. I could tell you about all of my qualities, but I'd also have to tell you about all of my flaws. Both could take a long time so if you want to know more, you'll have to ask. That way you can judge for yourself.

As for who I am looking for, I really do not have a long list of requirements, but I've learned what I want / need from a relationship and know what it takes to make one work. I won't waste your time trying to convince you that I am something that I am not or trying to change you. We are all who we are. That said, I am hoping to find both emotional and physical chemistry with someone who knows what it takes to make a relationship work. And yes...relationships do take work. If you think it is all about you...I'm not your guy. I want an "us" girl who is ready for something serious. I am ready to meet someone who knows what it takes to make a relationship work and wants a true partnership. If you're up for that, send me an email. If not...save your time.

SOME RANDOM THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ME: I'm a "do-it-myselfer". I drive a Pick-up truck and can not imagine owning anything else. I have never had a "real job". I have two younger sisters, and my family took in 18 other children through the foster care program. That has made me very compassionate to those who help themselves. I have no patience for those who do not. I hate it when people complain about things they can control. I believe that if you are not willing to invest in yourself, no one else will either. I'D LIKE TO MEET SOMEONE WHO CAN SHOW ME WHAT I'VE BEEN MISSING AND VICE VERSA. I like road trips. My eyes change color naturally. I hate fakeness. I think a lot. I ask questions. I am a better listener than a talker...unless I feel like I have not been heard. I have been very fortunate in my life. I love children. If I had known kids were this cool when I was younger, I'd have had a few more... may still. I can be goofy. I am always happy. I like sushi just as well as hamburgers. I clean up well when I have to. I cook. I multi-task. My mom says I am a Renaissance Man (that's someone who does a lot of things well).
