The most important things in these profiles are the pictures, at least that is where everyone goes first. So, I've put several in. But, you should also know a couple of other things too. Then, if you get past both the pictures and the other stuff, and there is a fit, we should probably talk. But here's a few things first.

I have been divorced for about 12 years. I never had kids of my own, but raised two of hers. We parted friends, but she is remarried now and haven't spoken much since.

I have a regular exercise program, about 45 energetic minutes every morning. That is not enough to make me athletic, no six pack, but I'm not skooshy either. Politically, I'm a fiscal conservative and a social moderate. At a gathering, you will not find me at the front smiling, shaking hands and becoming everybody's best friend. NOR, will you find me curled up in the corner waiting for it to be over. I'm in the middle of that spectrum. I like getting out and being with people, but I also like being by myself sometimes - except for you that is.

I am a college educated finance professional. Did commercial real estate finance up until recently. Looks like it is going to be a while before that comes back. The only TV I watch is documentary type stuff - Science, History, National Geographic and PBS, except some movies. I have been accused of being smart, but I know some really smart people and I'm not that smart. I'm pretty much a very down to earth guy. I come from Minnesota, and there's not a lot of excitement in that... but pretty good stuff otherwise. I can cook and know how to prune a tree properly. I am "handy" a mister-fixit kinda guy. I have a pretty well stocked workshop and like to build furniture and have built some really good stuff. I also entrepreneurial and have a couple of patents that are under negotiations to get them to market and it looks like something is going to happen. My barber says my hair is as thick as a Wookie, but it is getting gray now. I have a dog and I like him a lot...so it would be a good thing if you liked animals too.

I'd like to find someone to spend quality time with...and if I'm really lucky someone who wants to spend time with me. Smart and pretty would be real good. Permanent would be wonderful and is my goal, but that is a pretty rare find. Still, I am optimistic.
