After 11 years of being involved in several long term committed relationships, I must say the dating scene is somewhat...difficult to feel comfortable in. Let's see - about myself... Well, there's no question that I'm of the nerdy variety enjoying discussions ranging a grand spectrum including philosophy, politics, ethics, science, and history. Just how nerdy am I? Let me sum it up in a couple of words "I thoroughly enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons". Now to be fair, much of that enjoyment comes from the exercise of exploring the depths of morality, virtue, and such while enjoying the game from an improv acting perspective.

I'm not a total loss however. I hit the gym as often as able, averaging at about 3 times a week. I run my own business which I started fresh out of UCLA and have recently been admitted into 3 of the most prestigious MBA schools in the world (I decided to go to Wharton and I'm still getting used to living in Philly). Not one much for the club scene, some of my favorite times are when I get to hang out with my friends at a bar and simply relax and laugh till we all turn red.

What I'm looking for isn't anything unique or strange. I am most looking for someone genuine, someone with whom I can hold a decent conversation on just about any topic. You don't need to know the atmospheric composition of Saturn but able to converse about interesting topics, not just what J-Lo wore at the Oscars. Someone who will challenge my ideas yet defend my ideals. Someone who's not pretending to be someone they're not. Someone who would be equally comfortable getting ripped sake-bombing and spending the night watching the History Channel.

I have a mind to meet people, relax, and have a good time. If my profile in any way tickles your fancy, just shoot over a comment, joke, story, or simply shake your virtual fist in rage over something. :)

Well, I'm new to Philly and I have very little idea what there is to do around here or even what type of person to expect. I have basically been in LA all of my life. Ideas?
