I am an independent self sufficient woman who supports herself, owns her own home/car and has spent years nurturing her family. It is time for me now. I am not looking for someone to support me financially, but to find someone to love me emotionally and physically. I want to feel special and spoiled as well as spoil that special person in my life. I am looking for someone to spend time with and maybe lead to something long term. I am not in a hurry for the long term part, as I believe that has to be something that comes after getting to know someone and developing a friendship/relationship first.

I am not looking for a one night stand. I have never been married, but in two very long term relationships that for what ever reason, never ended in marriage. Children were something I always wanted, but that never happened. I have a niece and nephew that I "helped" raise. They are both grown now and do not need me as much as before. But are a very big part of my life. They are more like a daughter and son than a niece and nephew.

I enjoy spending time at home grilling, yard work (although looking at my yard and mole problem right now, this could be debatable), watching cardinal baseball and reading or watching old movies on TV. I read the paper everyday, and enjoy a good mystery as well as a love story, my favorite author is John Grisham.

I am not a big fan of going to the movies as it is always loud and crowded. I do enjoy going to live theatre/casino/dinner with friends. Have been to Las Vegas several times and love the pace of the city. A weekend trip to Nashville, KC or Chicago is always fun. I travel to Ohio a couple times a year to spend time with family. Have been to Hawaii and Canada, love both areas and would like to go back and explore with someone special by my side.

I am very close to my family and my dog (love my Scottish Terrier love me). There is nothing like a quiet evening at home just fixng dinner, watching tv, spendng alone time with someone special. But I enjoy entertaining/visiting friends and family as well as doing the "tourist" thing. Like to drink margarita's and eat Mexican,Italian.

Friends and family have described me as a passionate, thoughtful person who would come to your aid at the drop of a hat. I would give you the shirt off my back if you needed / wanted it (but only after we have known each other awhile ha ha).

I have worked for the same company for 30 years, like to say I was born there, as I can not possibly be old enough to have been there that long, but would like to explore something totally different once the economy turns around. I have exhausted everything I can obtain there, and would welcome a new exciting change.

Maybe a trip to the wine country (Hermann) for the day, just relaxing drinking a bottle of wine and eating cheese/fruit, listening to good music, I like country, bluegrass, easy listening and music from the 70's. Anything that would allow us time to just talk and get to know each other. But, the first meeting would not be a date, as I think you need to meet face to face to see if you click. This might be for an hour or longer if we hit it off.
