I like to get outside and water ski, snow ski, ride bikes, walk my dog and just sit on the beach. I love to plan out a dinner and cook for friends and family. I enjoy learning the ins and outs of wines by tasting throughout the many local regions. 11 buddies and I get together monthly for "Fire and Meat Night" and we take turns hosting dinner (usually involving fire and meat) and wine tasting. I have also belonged to a Supper Club for 6 years consisting of 5 great couples and me! Yes, I recognize there's room for improvement there. And I have had tremendous help from companions in the past. I enjoy music and food festivals. I attend various fund raising events for non-profits. I go out to hear live music and dance at local clubs.

I am a dry witted and social guy. I have always been active and continue to really enjoy getting out and doing things. But I've also learned the pleasure of hanging out at home with good company. I am christian (not fanatical), ethical and thoughtful. I put a high value on spending time with friends and family...and Charlie (my dog). I've been described as a great date because I can hold my own in many different situations. I love to be involved in the community in which I live.

I'd like to meet a lady who is humorous, fit, active, outgoing, flirtatious, bright, upbeat, motivated and interested in developing a serious relationship... because I'm none of those (kidding, of course). I'd like someone who has interests outside of work. Someone who is definitely a non-smoker. And I've learned that I work better with someone who has kids who are somewhat independent or who does not have kids at home. One who enjoys doing some of the things I enjoy but who can help me grow outside of my comfort zone. Someone with a little spunkyness.

I tend to keep the first date simple...coffee...drinks...happy hour...tapas and wine...something like that. We've all ended up in a situation where we committed to a long date and wished we were somewhere else. I'd rather be left wanting more.
