| | Well, let's see.....I've travelled some, but not nearly enough. I love everything about the ocean, but swim like a stone. I enjoy the outdoors, but not inclined to sleep on the ground. Not so much into bars & clubs, I'm more of a bistro/coffee-house-with-live-music kind of girl. Love latte and tea, good books and movies. I'll enjoy an occasional glass of wine with a nice meal or good friends or both. I like dining out, or at home (I'm currently renovating my kitchen - it's almost done!). I enjoy live events such as theatre, music, and some sports. There was a time I thought I would like to learn to ride a motorcycle, but now I'm content to be a passenger. I'm brushing up on my French and would like to learn Spanish. I enjoy most music, with the exception of rap. Sometimes, I dance in the kitchen when I'm cooking. I enjoy walking, hiking, and bike riding, but would rather do it with a friend. I'm at the gym, or 'bootcamp' a couple of times a week. I try to eat healthy....most of the time. I'm open to new challenges, and although the challenge may be in keeping pace or lack of skill, I'll at least try it. I'll try just about anything at least once..... However, I should qualify that by saying, I'm not likely to participate in activities that raise the rates on my life insurance or lower me on the food chain. ;) I enjoy stimulating conversation and the insight and opinions of others. I imagine that someday, I will live abroad, at least part of the year, maybe Latin America or someplace in Europe. I'm grateful for the life I have and the lessons that have come with it. I've raised my beautiful daughter successfully, and now she says I should be having the time of my life. So, while I'm too young to retire, I'm looking forward to creating 'more' in my life. More travel, more fun, more activity, more time with friends, more love and romance. I think it's always more meaningful and enjoyable when these things are shared.

Like everyone else, I have a wish list of basics.....you should be someone your friends and family would consider honest, loyal, reliable and trustworthy. You are communicative and can see the "bigger picture" when necessary. You value and appreciate the simple things that are often taken for granted. Emotionally and financially stable, you also have a sense of humour and fun. You might be adventurous. A creative mind and a somewhat spontaneous nature is appreciated. You have family values and common sense. You could be non-religious, but at least somewhat spiritual in your daily outlook at life. You're respectful of others. If you have children, they are close to being independant, if not already (mine is). Or maybe not....if you're the right one for me, so are your kids. You have no interest in "games". You're affectionate and a great kisser. You have a kind, compassionate, and open heart. You have your own interests and passions. You're looking for a relationship that could grow from friendship into an intimate and loving connectedness over time. Being open to possibility, and not attached to outcome, allows everything to happen as it should.
You'll find all the above in me. I'm hardly perfect, but the gift of every new day is a do-over to do better.
Besides, perfection is in perception.
Anonymity shouldn't absolve us of manners, and I will respectfully respond to all email. If I contact you, and you're not interested, I have no problem with a 'no thank you'. It would be nice if you have a recent photo to send if you haven't posted one on your profile. In return, I will do the same. Shallow as it may seem, it's all part of the chemistry thing. So, a couple of email exchanges, maybe a chat on the phone, then if it feels like the right thing to do, let's make a plan to meet. None of us will find the love of our life if we stay parked in front of a computer.

Chemistry would likely indicate whether we're destined to be friends, or more. So, maybe a casual meeting (the cliche coffee, or a glass of wine, or a walk) would be the precursor to a first date. After that, we're only limited by our imagination and motivation.
