I am an RN who is working as a school nurse at a public special education school. I am also an artist and love to paint and draw. I have two bachelor's degrees: Bachelors of Fine Arts 1976 and Bachelors of Science in Nursing cum laude 1996. I love the arts! When I was younger I was a dance performer in modern dance and ballet; I did some flamenco dancing for a few years out in LA. I have shown my paintings and drawing in galleries in Chicago, New York, Boston, and LA. I'm a little out of the art 'loop' as I have been busy raising my two girls, basically on my own out here. I am looking for a a kind, sensitive, intelligent, warm hearted, healthy guy who knows how to have fun! Someone who is creative or involved with the arts would be wonderful! I am financially and emotionally stable - and I would like to find a guy that is EMOTIONALLY available and POSITIVE about life. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh and have LOTS of FUN too! I do prefer guys 6 feet or taller - someone who is confident and strong. I am looking for someone I can cherish and love; as I look for the man who will also cherish and love me.

For the first date, I would like to meet during the day..for a lunch or a drink and snack...coffee is fine too! I think the first date should be 'light' and fun...and somewhat brief - see how we like each other's vibe or not! I am old fashioned in the sense that I like to have the man meet me in the town I live in - I don't like driving to meet the man - it just makes me feel weird in the beginning.. Respect, communication, patience, understanding may come.(and LOTS and LOTS of fun!!!)..and maybe some trust can happen! If we like each other on the first date..well..! We can just go ahead and make plans for the second date!
