I'm a lawyer, but not working constantly. I want a LTR. Friends first. Me: Stanford education. You: Educated by Life! I'd like to date someone I wanted to be: a veterinarian, a bridge architect, a cop, an astronaut, a children's Book writer, a Rabbi, a cartoonist, a GIFTED lawyer (haha)
The MAIN THING that matters is:
ARE YOU KIND? If so, I want you!
I'd like to re-build a classic car and strengthen my home improvement skills. I sometimes tire of being alone but I don't wish to travel far and wide to find the perfect mate. Doesn't exist. I am divorced, so I realize no mate is perfect. I am forgiving. Supportive. Love and laugh easily. When I can't avoid negative personality types, I smile and flee or ask you for firecover while I sprint, dive and roll.
I am a very true, loyal friend. I can be rambunctious. I am gentle. I cook. I clean. I will remember your mother's birthday and pick up the card if you forget.
My parents never fought in front of me. They let me practice my trombone in the bathroom because I liked the echo.
I would love to learn to shoot a firearm. I enjoy archery. I would also love to find somebody who sings or plays an instrument, and like me, has music on almost always. Added bonus: you are willing to teach me guitar! I care about looks and hands, gotta have chemistry. Of course you may have noticed I look crazy sometimes. Esp. when doing windows or weedwhacking. I love that thing. And the leafblower. Actually I am fond of most tools. Carpenters and other lawyers are sexy. Software types and Wii players are too. I taught fencing at Stanford, fought competitively for many years. Now I'm a lover not a fighter.
I change my "look" often. I have many military servicepeople in my family. I travel well -- roll with the changes -- and would certainly like to do more at this kinda free time in my life. I do love movies and home theatre, but I'd like to be as active as possible with my man -- lotsa walks, kayaaking and stretching. I have been wanting to go hear live music or stand-up comedy.

I want someone who needs me, likes to be pampered, surprises me with wisdom and humor once in a while, and is patient and funny and tries to make me happy. It's so, so easy: I'm already happy just thinking about it!
To get ready for the date, I'd probably do something unusual and unusually time-consuming with my voluminous hair and try get the paint n stuff off my paws. (I FOUGHT THE GORILLA GLUE, AND THE GORILLA GLUE WON). Advance apologies if that joke makes no sense at all. I just like to try to repair things, is all.
Unless we know each other a bit already, I likely want to do something that does not last more that a couple hours or so. I'd like to make a special recipe, but I wouldn't have anyone over to my house as a first date. Perhaps a park picnic. In an ideal world, I'd like to go base jumping on a first date. I hear adrenaline-pumping fun on first dates help the bonding process. . .
