| | i like doing just about anything outdoors or indoors, so long as it doesn't involve sitting around complaining. and i like women who aren't afraid to let others see their humorous side, and their academic and intellectual side, even if that means not going around acting like a crazy ho every thursday, friday and saturday night. and ones with a dry wit and a fairly dirty or sick sense of humor-- with whom i can share a laugh. also, if anybody's looking for somebody to run fast or bike at a fair pace with, that'd be cool too, because i like to get out and do such stuff.
it's been about three years since i've been with a girl who i wanted to stay with long-term. since then i've gone back and forth several times between being a whore and a monk, each change being driven by disgust at my sluttish lack of self-discipline and then by feelings of desire after a period of monastic-type living.
as to occupation, you might say i'm a teacher at heart who wound up a lawyer. i hope to redeem myself by returning to the academy in the near future. some writing is in the works, too. and hopefully some travel internationally or to parts of the u.s. that i've never seen. |

if you think of something, i'll go along. if i think of something, i'll let you know. if neither of us thinks of anything, we're both pretty lame.
we could hit lunch somewhere downtown during the week. or get some ice cream-- i know a place that has the sick-nastiest ice cream imaginable. It has cows for cranking it out right behind the store, and a busy little park about a minute down the road that would be a nice place to talk when we get bored with or tired of smelling the cows.
or if you're more ambitious, we could start off with a nice walk through a non-deadly part of philly on a sunny weekend afternoon. a park, or even a playground with swings, might be a nice place to talk. then we'd do dinner-- nothing too fancy, mind you, but something tasty. after that, maybe we could hit a bar with not-so-loud music (it'd be better if we had a chance to talk), perhaps with a view toward meeting up with a few friends of one or the other or both of us. after that, we could decide whether to find a late night diner that won't bother us if we sit and chat over tea for a few hours, go dancing (although i won't pretend to be much of a dancer), or take another walk, this time someplace where we can see the stars.
to be clear, i'm not up for short-term/intimate encounter/one night stand type stuff, so if that's what you're after, please find an appropriate man-whore and leave me alone. |
