When chicken wings and beer align, I become a trivia game enthusiast. I enjoy reading, playing games (cards, board games, video games), and watching movies or TV. It’s fun to take on projects around the house and fix things, so I guess I’m a handy man of sorts. However, I’m also outside a lot—walking my dog (Petey) or playing sports (softball and soccer being my favorites).

I’m not a big fan of the commercialism of the holidays—I’d rather eat a nice meal with my family than exchange gifts. My parents and sister are important to me and I enjoy visiting them. I put in a lot of effort when I choose to do something, so I would want someone who appreciates that sort of thing—be it for work, a relationship, or some other task.

I’m 31. I have a steady job. I want someone who is both fun to be around and mature, when warranted.

While a perfect match would be great, I’m looking for the person who shares about 70% of my interests and is willing to try or respectfully agrees to disagree with the rest. I want someone who is willing to include me in her life, the same way that I'd like to include her in mine. She's caring, likes to get and give hugs. Loves animals and her family too. She also tries to remain humble. She knows how to and enjoys having meaningful conversations. She can sit and enjoy watching a sunset, or a rainy day on a porch.

On a first date, I'd like to buy my date lunch someplace that's not too loud. Someplace that we can talk about our interests, and start to get to know each other.
