First off, it's the 21st century ladies. If you are interested in a guy, don't sit back and wait for him to write you. Make the first move! It amazes me that so many women still think the old way in this day and age.

I'm shy at first, but a friendly person, approachable, and quite garrulous if you get me started on something I'm excited about. I'm not much of one for the wild party scene, but I do like small groups, and one on one conversations. I like being outdoors, but I really like my creature comforts. I love photography, music (all sorts, but especially rock, classical, jazz, and celtic folk). I like to read for pleasure, but get little time to do it. I haven't had much opportunity to travel, but hope that my new career in archaeology will change that. I'm interested in Celtic archaeology and a number of other cultures. I'm saving up to go back to graduate school.

Probably take you for coffee or a drink at a quiet spot so we can talk, then maybe a nice walk. I prefer quiet first dates where we can get to know one another. Low key is great because there's enough pressure when you meet someone new without adding more with a formal setting.
