I'm Robert. Music is a big part of my life and I listen to all genres...I can thank my dad for that, I love movies...I do not only watch a movie for entertainment but also for the music, directing, and cinematography; I also like to play paintball during the winter time, and I tend to write quite often. I also enjoy being on the water when I have the chance, going to the beach with a group of friends, taking the occasional spontaneous road trip to nowhere, bbq'ing, playing and watching sports, and I am almost always willing to try anything...at least once.

I am currently attending school full time to change careers. I have been working in the Technology field for the past 7 years...but being laid off twice this year has me thinking that it is time for something new. I have always wanted to work in the medical field and because of work, never had the time to go to school. So I figured this is the perfect time. I have many goals in life and I am working to achieve them all. When I am finished with school, I would love to travel more...as my family never had the money to do so. Speaking of family...My family is somewhat small but I enjoy spending time with them. Family is a big deal to me. The values, morals, and lessons that my parents endowed upon me have really gotten me through some bad times...as well as good times.

So what makes me unique? A question that sits in the back of everyone's mind when they are trying to find someone. To me, it is the most difficult thing to say...not because I am embarrassed, but people tend to set a high standard about themselves and 90% of the time they fall short on what they say. So I asked my brother what makes me unique. He had this to say..and I quote, "...an intelligent, witty, humorous, caring, independent, sometimes stubborn, think outside of the box kinda guy. You have your imperfections and have made your mistakes but, who hasn't? You have this special quality about you that is hard to pinpoint but it makes you who you are. You are always putting people before yourself and will go through hoops to make sure that whoever is in your life is happy. You are the person who makes a choice and doesn't look back on it...you take whatever the outcome is; and either reap the rewards or learn from the consequences."

I find the dinner and a movie first date is over rated...as it does not give you the chance to actually get to know someone. Of course someplace public so that both of us are at ease with our surroundings. I think something like a grabbing a drink at a quiet bar or a getting a cup of coffee. Or if your up for it, a friendly game a putt putt golf. With both of those, you have the chance to talk and get to know one another and decide if there is any chemistry their.
