I have lived in the northwest for my whole life. And I couldn’t dream of living anywhere else. But I am willing to try and dry out somewhere warm for a week or so. I love day hikes or extended backpack trips. Skiing, claming, and walks on any beach are always on my list. Day trips to Canada and east of the mountains are also awesome. Other interests are movies, and the theater. But let's face it life is about adventure and discovery. I have a 15-year-old son who is the pride of my life. He becoming his own man and it is so cool! And I love it. I have just completed my second degree.

I just recently bought a home. I'm having all kinds of fun getting it in shape....Bring a hammer!

I live in the Marysville area. It has that small town feeling that seems to call to me home. I live on a little lake up there and have been enjoying swimming, fishing, gardening, and a lot of BBQ’s. It is a great retreat from the pressure of the workweek. There is nothing like getting up in the morning and having a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake.

Who is my ideal partner? I think that we would share each other interest, but have our own diverse passions as well. So that person must be willing to really share who she is. And being part of a family is the most important hit on my list. Any thing else I guess we would have to find out through sharing ourselves and I’d like to think that I treat that special someone right. First meetings are always so tough. admit it, they feel like a job interveiw. And lets face it. Starbucks is the "first date capital" of the world. But I would think that to really get a spark, it would be fun to do somthing different. How about a wine tasting, or a local fair.
