One of the downfalls to being single; there's no one to go get medicine for you when you're sick. Another, there's no one to stay up all night with you after watching scary movies in the dark.


I'm an old fashioned girl living in a modern world, currently undergoing some life changes. My children are a very important part of my life, despite that they are grown. With one away at university and the other engaged, I suddenly find myself facing a lifetime alone; unless you count the dog.

I commute to Kingston daily due to the life changes mentioned earlier. I decided to go to school and get my Chef's training. Recently I was asked by the owner of the school, if I would teach an evening class on baking. It's an honor that Red Seal Chefs think I have the talent to teach for them. That's something planned for the new year. Also in the new year I'm planning on moving and beginning anew somewhere. Not sure where yet. :)

I would love to meet someone who I find attractive, with a good soul who isn't afraid of commitment or monogamy. Someone I could share the complexities of life with. Both the good and the not so good moments. It's amazing how difficult that is proving to be.
