still working 20 to 30 hrs a week, i am a people person/ not couch person/ go to miami every now and then/ dont believe in retirement villages/ go to book stores/ art shows/ plays/ not into what you have or i have/ been there done that/if something happens beyond dating, who knows?
I like to think I've seen just about everything but there is always something new around the corner no matter how much time takes its toll. Been writing for about thirty-five years, short stories, poems and now on a book. Not published but who knows and anyway the joy is really in seeing situations and emotions that drive them. Have H.S. education but realized it's not the formal education that enriches ones life but the people I come in contact with. Favorite place is BooksandBooks store in Coral Gables, Fl., and the rest of Miami for its culture differences. Lived there for twenty-seven years and still call it home. Like all music, met Bill Haley and The Comets when i worked at recording shop in Phila., and many more artists. Grew up on hillbilly music until age fifteen. Mother came from the South, so, between being raised by one Yankee Father and one Southern Mother, life was interesting but am thankful for walking both lines. Same with religion, seen it all.
Way too much more to put in writing. Worked for major airline for thirty-five years, retired from them at age fifty-three(no, not a pilot). Addictions counselor Miami one year, sales for lead manufacturing company in Miami for six years, great job as got to see all the bait and tackle shops and marinas and dive shops in Florida. Now working for grocery store for twelve years, nothing special, just pushing carts, ect., but all the world passes through a food store and all the stories with it.
