Why do so many people write that they do not believe in this type of site and then go ahead and take the time to create a profile ? I assume it's simply to set low expectations and hopefully, be surprised :)

I am a happy single woman that would like to meet someone who is OK with being alone but would rather be in a relationship. I strongly believe in being transparent and authentic. We all have are strong points and weaknesses. Let's embrace both, I say !
A compatible sense of humour, an ability to discuss various subjects (without necessarily agreeing about them) and an overall balanced, open and positive outlook on things are usually traits that appeal to me.

Seriously. Conversation is a good (the only ?) way to get to know someone. I am curious and enjoy learning about new things, places and people. So meeting up in a place where we can have a chat sounds nice. Then, we get to experience the infamous End of the First Date. Ah those oh so pleasant few minutes where you either: 1- are interested in seeing the person again and wonder if the feeling is mutual or can't run away fast enough :)

I believe one cannot get very far without trying things and putting oneself out there. A first date remains a first date. Meet. Listen. Discuss. Assess if there is any interest for a second meeting. Yes ? Happy days ! No ? Try again. No hard feelings !
