Out of town on a short work assignment back in the new year. Message me if you like...

10 random factoids:

1) My friends would agree when I say I'm wash and wear/cash and carry. I don't put a huge value on material possessions. I don't own a car because I haven't needed one up to this point.

2) I like to use double adjectives to really emphasize something. Like "cold cold" (really cold) or "now now" (right away).

3) I love live music and have done band photography for so long that it seems criminal not to at least bring my camera to every show I go to. I am always searching out new music, looking to see who is coming through, and am usually the one who organizes tickets for friends.

4) I prefer white (a nice chenin blanc or riesling will do) over red (though I'll always try it out) and wouldn't mind a Corona or a black iced tea.

5) My ears are stretched (but you'll only notice if you're standing too close) and I have a pretty big tattoo on my back. I'd like some more but I don't have any solid ideas at this point.

6) I'll have spent close to 3 years of my life in various parts of Africa by the time I'm back in town.

7) Everyone seems to like to mention how many countries they have traveled to. I'll let you guess.

8) I've been described as being go with the flow, am rarely in a rush, and tend to walk slow. I usually take short leisurely steps.

9) I am currently living and working in French. I'm finding that Senegalese French is crisp and clear, Congolese is a bit slurred, and French speakers from France speak really quickly. Or maybe it's just me.

10) It only lets you put one thing for what you're looking for but at the end of the day I'm happy meeting someone I can go see bands play with or hanging out and generally expanding my circle of friends. I'm open to something more serious but I'd have to get to know someone first.

(bonus factoid) I like ballet it is the combination of the visual and aural that gets me. The first time I saw it live I was a bit perturbed by the fact that I could hear the dancers landing on the stage. Strange but true. I got over it pretty quickly. I don't see as many as I should unfortunately.
