About Me
I'm looking for someone that is in to doing it all, camping, jet skiing, music shows like rock, electronic, hip-hop, folk, spoken word, whatever tickles you're eardrums, I listen to it all. I want someone who is interested in getting to know me more deeply. I want to share my self, energy, life, and memories with someone. Do you ever lay in bed at night and wish you had someone's shoulder to lay your head on, and someone to wrap your arm around? I know I do.
I am going back to school to get by BA in Psychology. After that I am going to go to Grad school at the California Institute of Integral Studies for a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology. This is a method of clinical counseling based on meditation and deepened self awareness as a way of reaching better awareness of what things effect you in the feelings, emotions, and behavioral patterns you have.
I live in a Warehouse in The Dogpatch. I Bartend at an Art Bar in the Western Addition that I love. My job is the best. You learn a lot about people when you work at a bar.
I love cooking, having potlucks, movies in on a cold night ;), going out dancing, ceremonial gatherings like solstice, Burning Man changed my life... I like chocolate, teas of all sorts, new experiences, traveling, flowers are always a nice touch but only if you feel like it's right...
First Date
I would suggest dinner somewhere. Food is always a good common thing to get together for, or a local Modern Art show. Meeting over drinks is always fun too, a place where you can play pool or darts, something you can do together that not everyone is super great at so it evens the playing field. Some people say a movie isn't the best thing for a first date, but if you go see a movie and then go somewhere after to talk bout it. Yoga classes are a fun thing to do for a first date. It's definitely a bonding experience. There's even a partner yoga style called AcroYoga!
