When I was ten, I had a crush on the cutest little girl in my fifth grade class. She had beautiful emerald green eyes, blond hair and a smile that would lighten up any room. Unfortunately so did another blond haired boy who just so happened to be a friend of mine.
We both chased after her back and forth until one day we thought we would prove our worth to her in a classic fist fight. Conveniently enough I landed a nice looking black eye and a bloody nose, while my sparing partner merely had a tiny bite mark on his right arm to show for it. Long story short, the pretty boy went to the spring dance with my crush, while I stayed home with more than bruised ego.
Such are the growing pains in life, and even though I am not that old to reminisce about such things, I've learned to value every moment in life. I've also learn to look for a girl for the right reasons. If you asked me this question five years ago I'd immediately tell you that the beautiful supermodel we all see in TV and magazines would be my one and all key to happiness.
A few more trials and mistrials since then has made me realize that beauty is more than just good looks. While sparkling eyes and a nice smile is wonderful, I think a girl is most attractive when she grabs your arm while walking down a New York city subway. Its when you tease her and she breaks out laughing hysterically. Its when she makes you an omelet and asks you how many teaspoons of sugar you take in your coffee. It also when I feel special enough to return all of these favors. With that being said I would however prefer that she is in good shape though as, I pride myself in being healthy and fit.
So while finding someone special is a serious goal, I also have a wonderful career that I enjoy. It involves taking a tablet, putting it in a vial, adding a few chemicals and throwing it at a few friends that sit across from me at my desk. Sometimes I have to multitask by putting superglue on their chairs and little stickys on their backs.
Besides playing practical jokes, I also love to work out, fish, practice mixed martial arts, and watch sports. I am a Mets and Jets fan. So I also like to throw things at the television. When I am driving I like to put my hand out of the window and see if the wind can push it back. Most of all I like to spend time with my family and friends and relish each moment I spend with them.
I also like learning about history and different cultures of the world. I would love to travel somewhere totally unlike the US. I hear the Asian Pacific is pretty cool. Nothing like a nice snake dinner to make a man out of you. The Mediterranean would be a nice second option.
So if you've read this far, thanks a bunch. But now you might as well go in the kitchen, grab some milk and cookies and be prepared to write something fun back to me.
Tye
P.S. If you don't put much effort into your profile then, it doesn't say much about how dedicated you are to finding someone on here. Hope you all understand if for some reason I don't write back to you.
Dinner, drinks, dancing, acrobats, a high speed chase, a blimp tour, a piggyback ride, music, juggling, walking on the boardwalk, dozing off to boring restaurant music, running into a subway train, pottery class,a movie, sharing a banana split, pool, bowling, petting animals at the zoo, and last but not least a stick of chewing gum before knocking on your door.
Some combination of these.
