I am never sure what to write here. I think my intelligence is my strongest feature and my patience is my weakest. I am not too hard on the eyes and I am always looking to lose a few more pounds. A steady job (a little too steady sometimes), a beautiful home (a work still in progress), and some fun machinery to get around in. What I still need could be you. While I enjoy the usual "guy" stuff, I am willing to participate in just about any activity you desire, short of shopping.

I would like to find a nice lady to join me and continue exploring the world. So many places to go and so many things I want to do that would be infinetly more fun if I had the right partner.

I am a somewhat unusual person as I am able to build a house and then decorate it in a style worthy of magazine coverage. Art work and construction are things I grew up with and still enjoy today. I love to work with my hands.

I like to listen to smooth jazz, the blues (love to go to the live blues clubs in Chicago), and I also like to dance to a good slow song or a romantic song from the golden oldies. Not into rap, heavy metal,or hip hop.... I've tried and I just can't do it.

I like to create things from oil paintings to black raspberry preserves (starting with picking the berries) to home improvement projects. Tell me what YOU like and I bet we could have a good time together.

A first date should be early in the evening, low key/low stress, and infinitely expandable. A glass of wine, a cup of coffee, a walk by a lake or through a nice park... all are good ways to spend a little time getting to know someone new.
