I'm a single, New York-born (actually, Long Island-born, but NY-born sounds so much cooler) Upper-West Sider in search of something different. I'm of Indian blood (first-generation), and consider myself a harmonious synthesis of Eastern and Western values. Very spiritually inclined, always looking to get to the next level. I'd like to think that I am warm, sensitive, sensual, witty, outgoing, attractive, lazily ambitous young man. So why am I not in a relationship? I guess it is because of all these things I've come to expect something that by default will let me down. I'm told I expect a lot of people. That maybe the case, but I'd like to think that I give a lot in return. I think I used to be hopelessly romantic, but somewhere it has turned into romantically hopeless. But I've got faith in myself. And I'd like to have faith in you. More about me? I am intense. I laugh a lot. I love music and movies. (I really dig music.) One more thing, I can say this - I'm not like anyone you've ever met before; and I think you will like it.

I am looking for someone who is soft, strong, independent, intelligent, well-educated, sensitive, witty, stylish, charming, rational, and confident. This is beauty to me. You are someone who knows who she is. You are done trying to figure out your role in this world. You are living it. You are proud of your accomplishments, and have no regrets. Having regrets means you would change the past -- which means it would change who you are. You are past that. You know about how you feel. You enjoy music, great conversation, vegetarian food, wine, and soft cotton sheets. You find my flaws "cute." You find my virtues "inspiring." You become my gentle obsession. Waking moments are spent thinking about when we can be together -- away from the craziness. Or maybe about how we can jump into the thick of things -- in the middle of it all. Whatever it is we do, it's all good.
