Update: I'm finding that the dating thing really doesn't suit me all that well right off the bat. I tend to do better when I meet people as friends first (hence the switch from "dating" to "friends" in my "I Am Looking For" section, for those of you who are paying way too close attention...haha).

That being said...in theory I'd like to go on a date again at some point in the future, and my thoughts on it haven't really changed:

I'd like to do something fun and cheesy like bowling, miniature golf or going to a theme park. It's good when there's something to do, but you still have occasion to have a lot of conversation. Movies can be a good choice later on, but for a first date it can be awkward (since you're sitting quietly in the dark for two hours). Dinner is always a good idea too, especially since it gives me a chance to explain right up front what a horribly picky eater I am (and see if you still stick around).
