| | I'm a easy going person. I love to travel and I go whenever I can. I am not into the party bar scene anymore. When I go out with friends, it's to catch up with them. I enjoy my job. I have a passion for aspects of science, and this passion overflows into my teaching. My interests in science are broad. Everything from genetics to volcanology. I actually spent the last two summers in Hawaii studying. I absolutely love teaching! It's a way for me to combine my excitement for science with my passion for helping others. I coach volleyball too, and I also like to stay active. Anything from hiking to the gym.
I didn't get to travel much in my life up until 2002. I absolutely love it. I got the first stamp in my passport this past March when I traveled to Europe. I was a BIG deal for me. There are still so many places I would like to go, and I know I'll get to all of them eventually. Getting to study in Hawaii the last two summers was amazing. I did plenty of hiking and snorkeling, and I almost surfed. The day I had scheduled to go, the instructor said the current was too strong. Bummer! I will do it some day though.
I grew up in the Mid-West and lived in New Orleans. I'm as honest as they get, and I would like to meet more people who are goal oriented, have a passion for things in their life, and have the courage to chase their dreams. I am who I am...a sweet person who looks for the best in others and leads by example. I'm driven and dedicated when it comes to my job, yet I enjoy my down time too. |
