I live near Harrisburg, PA, born & raised in suburban New York (Long Island), been divorced since 1994, two kids (19 & 22) who are both in college and no longer live with me.

I am NOT your typical person! I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge with a STRONG mind that I make full use of every day. I am sensitive, loyal, responsible and an excellent communicator. I have held conversations for LONG periods in the past. My longest phone marathon was 5.5 hours!

I am also a tenacious SURVIVOR! I survived a near-death experience from a car wreck and other negative experiences. I have learned SO MUCH! I believe that many people could benefit from the knowledge and experience I have accumulated in my lifetime. I am writing a book titled "The Automotive Handbook for Working Technicians." I am also thinking of writing several other books (about relationships, philosophy, history, etc).

I have spent many years working in manufacturing engineering (for major defense contractors) and software test engineering (for LARGE companies like Hewlett-Packard, Intel and Nationwide Insurance). I can fix just about anything. I like repairing all kinds of things including cars and motorcycles . I am currently working on an Associates degree in automotive technology (a lifelong passion of mine).

My favorite things include: music (modern jazz, techno/trans, oldies, dance), NO CRAP thank you! wildlife, history, water skiing, movies, hiking, pool, boating, beach combing, astronomy, geology, criminal forensics, home repair, auto repair, motorcycle repair, poker, computers, comedy, self-help, psychology, laughing, learning and philosophical conversations.

I am honest, loyal, constructive, articulate and humorous. I like to learn, read, write, explore, drink coffee and talk to people. I appreciate these traits in others.

I don't drink but I am a smoker.

I would like to spend the rest of my life in a romantic partnership with Ms. Right, a compatible Single White Female (38 to 50).

A good place for an initial meeting would be a local diner or restaurant that has a smoking section. ANY activity would be enjoyable with the right person.
