I love to read. If you have a good book, you could travel through time and space without leaving home. The only limit is your imagination. Different worlds to explore, go back in history and visit famous characters, the possibilities are endless. Stephen King,to explore the supernatural. Robert A. Heinlein to travel to the far reaches of the galaxy. J.R.R. Tolkien, told a story of middle-earth,and Steven Ambrose shared tales of courage about The Band of Brothers during WWII.
Music is also an important part of my life. You can hear a song and remember exactly what you were doing when you first heard it. Songs are the mile markers in life. We can listen to music and remember the good and also the bad, usually the situations that make us who we are later in life. The hard edge of rock and metal for those wild years growing up and classical, finally reaching a point where you realize there is more to life than the party.
The same can also be said about the seasons. Fall with its multitude of colors, shades of red, orange and brown is by far my favorite. Halloween costumes with treats and an occasional trick. Pick up football games. Watching your breath in the silver pale light of a full moon on a crisp, cool night. Thanksgiving, when the family joins around the table, to share a great home cooked meal. Then, when dinner is done, listening to stories about relatives and loved ones.
I have often heard that a man is judged by the company he keeps. So with that said, I'm a genuine guy with a honest heart, who gets along with everybody. I have few friends I call close, but I am fiercely loyal to the people who are close with me.
I have four children, two sets of twins. I am not looking for someone to mother or raise them, they already have a mother.
