I am very anti "taking advantage of people" but I have come to accept the fact that some people live an honourable life but too many others are contributing to the social and moral decay of society. Today "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is paramount to bringing a butter knife to a gunfight. Respect is NOT a charitable donation, it has to be earned. I don't treat random stangers like best friends, however (from the liberal side of me) if a person seeks to help themselves primarily in order to achieve a happy life, I'm all for it.

I prefer a small amount of close friends and family (in real life) to having 300 friends on "social" websites.

Obviously I lean to the right a little, socially.

Things I despise:
When people use their "human" rights as an excuse to negate their basic responsibilites as "humans" in the first place
Political Correctness, oversensitivities and double standards
"Criminal Rap music". Note this does NOT include all rap music - just the type that glamorizes feuds, conflict, crime and caters to the lowest form of life (also, though I don't despise it per sé, I have no time for "dance" music or the "club life" either)
Socialism or as I call it Pinko Commie & Liberal excuses - SILLY LIBERAL PAYCHEQUES ARE FOR WORKERS!
Blaming (me) the educated working class for the world's ills - past and present
Having more than $20K a year deducted from my pay cheques for (career) welfare and other "subsidized income" programs - I get pissed off by "two day millionaires" who have starving children because they're too lazy to work and buy booze and smokes instead
How "civil" rights groups have isolated and excluded so any lack of agreement or support for their agendas is "racist" behaviour (however extreme or foolish they may be)
People's desire to explore other "cultures" while knowing nothing about or stereotyping their own
Religion in the workplace or just general sticking one's nose in business that is NOT theirs - If you're offended by the pictures of girls in my tool box - DON'T LOOK AT THEM
Abuse towards innocent beings. By this I mean children, domesticated pets or poaching wild animals. It's shouldn't be tolerated. The hypocritical part is - sorry PETA - I support LEGAL hunting but only for sustenance. I disagree with wasting or selling any part of a hunted animal (which, to me, basically makes it poaching).

So to summarize
Things I hate: Excuses (especially poor ones), double standards, animal abuse and social propaganda
Things I like: People who are proud of who they are and take responsibility for themselves and their actions, a good work ethic, a regressive Welfare system that cuts back the "benefits" every 6 months until it runs completely out after 3 years
