Educated, self sufficient, fun loving guy who's looking for someone to spend time with...I'm extremely loyal to friends/family, and would hope you'd be the same. Looking for someone who understands that life is a balance of many things, and who believes that sometimes its the little things that count the most.

Having a child and being a single parent means that schedules change and even the best laid plans have to change on short notice. That is something that I am realizing not a lot of people understand if they don't have kids. That's not to say that I am exclusively looking for someone who has a child, b/c certainly I am not...I only mean that generally those w/ kids "get it" when schedules conflict, etc...maybe someone can prove me wrong??

Open, honest, and trustworthy are must haves, and are not negotiable. I'm tired of the club scene, and am more of a bar/dinner type of person. Letting loose is good, and we all need to do it from time to time to stay sane, but too much of any good thing can turn into a bad thing....well...almost any thing...

Conversation...let me re-phrase...Good Conversation - is a must have. When you look @ the clock and realize you've been talking for hours, yet it seems like only minutes, means that something is clicking, and that's a good thing. Periods of uncomfortable silence suck...and if its just you answering questions I might ask, and not really having 2-way dialogue, then there probably wont be a 2nd conversation...

I am a huge sports fan...will pretty much watch all sports...Huge Yankees and Eagles fan...I play golf as much as I can and enjoy spending time w/ friends, concerts (going to see Metallica in Oct!!!), and attending sporting events when possible....I play basketball weekly and am currently playing flag football as well...

Going somewhere for a good dinner and then take it from there is a good thing to do...generally I am open to just about anything on a first date. I'm not picky as long as the company is good...
