I will start off by saying what I'm looking for in a best friend/partner. I like a woman that is open minded and easy going..Life is to short to be sweating the small stuff.. A best friend to me is someone who can talk, listen and be there for you if you need a shoulder to lean on.You must love the outdoors and enjoy trying new things. You must be independent but also like doing things together. You must not be into games or lies. Trust is everything and with out it you have nothing.

I am a man that loves life.I am very easy going and openminded and up for trying new things. I am a person that will do anything for friends, family and love ones. To me true friendship is for life.We have friends that come and go in our life but its the ones that are still with us that are real friends. I never look at a past relationship that did not work as a bad thing but as a lesson on what not to do in the next one. Life is a learning curve and never to old to learn something new.

I enjoy most sports. Being on the water enjoying the sunrise and sunset on the lake. I love to cook but its nicer to share a nice dinner and a bottle of wine.

I have a step daughter that is now 24 and lives in Ottawa .I enjoy family outings as much as I do romantic evenings .I lived in Ottawa for 34 years and moved here to Port Hope 11 years ago.
