_______ Just A quick update________________ 11/18/2009

As you may have noticed from my profession, I work full time, have my soon to be 7 yr old son full time. I go to school full time, also there's the super spy espionage thing so... I'm a busy guy. I do make it a point to have a bit of a social life too. All work and no play makes Jon a dull boy after all! Point being my time is precious, if I'm not interested I don't answer emails. If I think you've got the right stuff, I will definitely take the time to answer! I am definitely looking to spend quality time with the right person. Could it be you? And now without further ado the ever expanding book which has become my POF profile.......enjoy!

Just a few key points before you read the about me portion of my profile, I have been on this site awhile and met some nice people but just haven’t found the one woman, I don’t want to be without. I don’t like to play when it comes to relationships; I’m honest and expect the same. Life is far too short and precious to waste by playing with someone’s heart or head. So, in an attempt to make sure were uber compatible there is a list of some requirements that I have:

1. You must have a pic, be who you are, I’m not Sherlock Holmes, and I’m not here to solve a mystery, please have current pics.

2. I quit smoking 6 yrs ago and really not too crazy about how it smells, it’s cool if you do it’s your life, but smokers aren’t for me. PSA- if you’re a parent don’t smoke in your car or house around your kid. That’s real parent of the year behavior there. Sorry since I’m a single dad with custody of my 6 yr old son I have definite opinions about good parenting.

3. Lastly, because of allergies and the smell??? I have a limit to how many pets I can deal with. Let me clarify, I like animals they are delicious! Lol (sorry couldn’t help that one)hehehe .

Seriously though, depending on the animal some I’m allergic too and some I’m not, though I like cats and dogs and fish but if you dream of having 3 dogs and 2 cats and your ideal house is half kennel- half home, I won’t be able to deal with it so pass me up.

Hopefully, that hasn’t turned you off unless you are a zoo owner, smoker or anonymous.............. and now a few words about a great guy, who is kind, easygoing, believes in God, happy, funny, smart, witty, romantic, charming and obviously as you can tell from the pics devilishly handsome. ;)

While we’re on the subject of me, I have some requirements you should know about. I’m a single dad and I have a 6 year old son, so you must like kids. Well, you must at least like 1 kid. It won’t be hard though he’s adorable too. I’m also not interested in drama, if you’re addicted to the trauma save it for Springer!

Did I mention, I’m honest, easygoing, responsible, hardworking, fun, and not interested in playing games? You should be too! Friendship is the foundation of any great relationship so we’ll have to start there and see what we have in common and if we click and compliment each other.

I am a movie and music buff so my interests are far ranging when it comes to film and sound.

My music tastes range from Springsteen to tom waits, feist, modest mouse, foo fighters, weezer, Coldplay, Sinatra, and Louis Armstrong. Drive by truckers and son volt are my current favs. New fav the swell season great stuff!

I have to cop to being a sci-fi, super hero movie type of guy, like comedies like forgetting sarah marshall, knocked up, but also like lesser known films like the wrestler, Rushmore, documentaries like where in the world is osama bin laden?, etc.
I like to read, but rarely have time for recreational reading. I am currently reading school and technical materials. I am open to new experiences and standard dating fare like movies, dinner, coffee houses, karaoke, bar nights, dancing …….you get the picture.

I spend a lot of time doing family activities with my son like zoo’s, apple orchards, kid’s movies and park. We also go camping and fishing so if that’s not your cup of tea, you have been forewarned! You must be family oriented.

Lastly a little about what I and probably everyone else is looking for; Sure, I’m looking for a best friend and partner to share life with, someone to grow old with and share the ups and downs of life with, but Rome wasn’t built in a day so obviously we should start out slow and see what develops. Email me and we’ll get to know each other and take it from there. You can never have too many friends or laughs in life. Hope to hear from you soon

I'd like to meet for coffee,adult beverages would work also, get to know each other and see where that leads, there is nothing worse than getting roped into dinner with someone you know your not interested in in the first 5 minutes! I'm sure we've all been there. lol
