A few things i dig: details, intelligent conversation, mixing drinks, the ocean, music in an empty room, people watching, food and wine pairings, bookstores and libraries, newscientist, the motley fool, yoga, passion, language, power tools, driving, water, good hugs, travel, trust, someecards, limits, little idiosyncrasies, feather comforters, integrity, being lost, interpreting lyrics, offbeat, indie and foreign films, surprises, picnics, scarves, any activity in the rain.

A couple of things from my 'bucket list': learn to surf, skydive, ride dirt bikes, finish an ironman, travel anywhere and everywhere, learn to scuba dive, climb a glacier, sit on a beach in the caribbean, graduate from 'window' shopping to real shopping on 5th ave, start my own business, be in love, own a ducati, find a way to make a dent in my movie list...

A few things i've thought about today:
how do i still manage to put my shirt on backwards AFTER checking where the label is?
why do even the most seemingly self-assured people still look for validation from others?
why do i like brown m&m's more than the other colors, even though i can't taste the difference?

A few (dying?) human qualities i very much appreciate and notice:
generosity (in all forms), strength (mental), thoughtfulness, creativity and the ability to cook great eggs!

And lastly, a few random facts about me:
i'm equally comfortable in high heels or sneakers, but love being barefoot.
i just cannot go to sleep without brushing my teeth.
i'll never pretend to want something i don't.
i'm incredibly sarcastic.
i can work in europe.
i'm an excellent hugger.
