I'm currently deployed, though I should be home a little after New Years. My best friend has had some trouble meeting women the old fashioned way so he decided to try the online route. I told him I'd go in with him so he wouldn't be going out there solo. I'm not really looking for a girlfriend or just sex or anything. I generally like to hang out, have a good time... I travel as much as I can, I'm a big fan of spontaneous trips. I am stationed at Ft. Hood though I don't spend many weekends there, I usually head to Dallas or Austin (I have family in both). I'm a pretty open guy, and I have a good time meeting and getting to know new people. I'm a very active person and its important to me to stay fit and healthy, though I am a laid back guy and I'd rather have a good time than spend all my time in a gym. Anyway, feel free to shoot me a message, I'm usually pretty good at responding...and though I'm in the military I'm also a pretty intellectual guy so feel free to write more than what you think about how I look haha.

For a first date...I'm not a big fan of the cliche stuff. I mean dinner and a movie can be a good time, but I tend to be a little more active and I try to find something a little more specific or interesting. If I'm in Dallas I enjoy going to places like the Dallas Aquarium, maybe a Stars Game...maybe go mountain biking around Lake Grapevine. Too much to do to be sitting around all the time and staying in doors for too long.
