Although I work full-time as a craftsman—handmade greeting cards—who knew you could actually make a living at that—I still find time to enjoy life. Life is very special to me. My husband died a little over three years ago, and it has made me acutely aware of what little time we have on this earth. That being said, every morning I get up before sunrise just so I can see the morning glow. I jog about a mile and then walk back home every day except when it’s really, really cold and windy, or raining buckets. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years.

I lived in Florida on the beach for 5 years and absolutely loved it. I go to the ocean or Gulf as much as I can. Swimming, kayaking, bicycling, or just walking the beach are all things I enjoy.

I live a simple life on my farm. No animals to look after except my dog, so it’s an easy life. Enjoy listening to music, most kinds. I was raised on classical, but love country and rock and roll.

I read everyday, mostly fiction, many genres, and enjoy watching DVD’s on television. I write poetry and spend time in the garden watching things grow. I have a large water garden and a gazebo by it, so I enjoy lazy evenings out there watching the sun go down.

My favorite type of person is one who challenges me intellectually and yet makes me laugh a lot too. Being able to laugh at oneself and with someone are extremely important to me.
