I am an active 48 year old mother of three adult children. I am compassionate, love showing affection, giving, honest and trustworthy. My Christian faith is important to me and I have traditional values. I have a close loving relationship with my family and friends and have been single again for over two yrs after a marriage of 20+ yrs. I have enjoyed meeting new people in my unexpected new journey and have grown in my confidence. I realize everything happens for a reason and that God must have something much better planned for me. I am a happy, positive person who is easy to get along with. I am understanding and forgiving, always ready to listen.

I have a stable career that is satisfying and I'm financially secure. I have had two careers in my past ( not counting my teenage yrs mowing and walking beans on our farm). I was in banking for 13 yrs prior to going into nursing. Nursing is a very rewarding experience and has taught me a lot about life. I absolutely love children but enjoy taking care of the elderly the most.

I enjoy most types of music except for rap and opera. I like outdoor concerts and listen to classic 70's when working out...eagles, fleetwood mac, zz top, eric clapton are a few. Another favorite past time is site seeing and visiting comedy clubs. Laughing is the best medicine of all. :)

I grew up on a farm so I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. We went camping, fishing, dirt bike riding and traveling as a kid and have tried to instill the same enjoyment of the outdoors with my children. (My daughters tend to enjoy the nicer hotels rather than roughing it in the outdoors but I tried.) I also enjoy doing things such as going to sporting events, walking, swimming, boating, water and snow skiing, and outdoor festivals are fun. I also enjoy going downtown Champaign or Billy Barooz for drinks with the girls but I miss having that special someone to love and spend time with. I'm a good cook when I take the time and effort, it's just not much fun cooking for one. Would love some company and/or help. I actually have a wide variety of interests, just ask.

For a first date I would like to go for a drink and/or dinner and quiet conversation at a trendy downtown eatery. Bowling or minature golf are always fun activities too.
