Somehow I’ve always missed the connecting flight between chemistry and mutual commitment. I was never very good at navigating, and somehow I always find myself in the Bermuda Triangle. Maybe I need new instrumentation?

It’s not a necessity to have someone in my life right now, but it is something that I would like to have. I don’t play games. I’m cautious about it, but I do say what I feel. So far I have only been involved in unproductive relationships, and I would love to have a successful one while I’m still relatively young enough to enjoy it. My kids will be grown in a couple of years, my time is flexible, and I would like to have someone to share it with.

I am not "husband-hunting", but I'm also not looking to be just another fish on your stringer. While marriage may not be right for every couple (or even many couples), I like to feel special, and it's hard for me to feel special as part of a weekly rotation. I think I'm looking for a reciprocal "something in-between" for right now. Let's call it a casual commitment, for lack of a better expression. If you get that, let's talk.

About me: I try to find the joy in everything, whether I'm spending time with my family, doing my job, or giving my dog a bath. It's the little things that add up to a whole life. And life is short, so I try to smell as many roses as I can. My sense of humor affords me a unique perspective. I prefer to surround myself with people who can laugh and make me laugh.

Anything can be fun with the right person/people. I like to go out, and I like to stay in, depending on my mood. I like to goof off, see and learn new things, meet new people. I have a lot of favorites. It's hard to pick one thing over another.
