I am an adventurous spirit and tend to favor non-conformity and individuality. I enjoy and appreciate spiritual people, but find very religious ones rather tedious and intolerant. Hiking the mountains in the fall, and roller skating in the park whenever the weather permits are two of the many things I love doing.

Some of the best food you'll ever eat is available for my friends that stop by my home for Sunday morning coffee (OK, that part was written by my brother...but it's true!). Actually, I love to cook for friends and family (I love to make pastry almost anytime).

The most interesting people to me are those who actually have thoughtful views, even widely divergent views on the various aspects of living on this planet...and can have an intelligent and articulate conversation about them...or just really enjoy the company of others. Intelligence and humor are very sexy.

As a certified and experienced massage therapist, I'm very tuned into the body...which means I give a d*mn good massage. I'm passionate about my family, creative in my work, and love the richness and variety of life. Originally from Utah, I spent most of my adult life in Washington State - but have also lived many other places - most recently, just returned from almost a year in Washington DC. Now, the fates have brought me on another adventure to Washington DC. I like to visit friends and family there...and happen to quite enjoy traveling to other locations as well, when opportunities permit.

Though I certainly wouldn't exclude others out of hand, I tend to like men who have a little bit of an edge - that is, they fall on the non-conformist side of the fence. I like longer hair and facial hair. Rugged types are also nice. Passionate personalities rock. Also, never underestimate the value of romance, and be someone who doesn't mind breaking out of the mold or coloring outside the lines. And please, please, appreciate really good coffee.

I would be open to almost anything as long as it would include being able to converse.
