Well... Dating hasn't been a priority for me. I'm pretty comfortable on my own, but I think I'm ready to share myself with someone special. I have tried the online thing, but it's such an unnatural way to meet people I kind of gave up meeting strangers awhile ago. I'm on this site hopefully weeding out some of the type I keep attracting that I am not interested in.

I'm a professional working in a field I really believe in. My proudest accomplishment is my beautiful daughter though. She's just like her mommy; cute, goofy, SMART, sarcastic, precocious, loving. I've been divorced for about 8 years now, in which I've been taking care of her almost entirely on my own. So ya I have some debt because of that, but I'm not looking for someone to pay that off for me! I wouldn't change a thing. Being committed to my job and my girl I haven't really let a man into my life completely.

I'll admit, I am a challenge, but if there is a guy out there that can make me fall, I will give him all of me. Trust, respect, communication...If we can have all of that, it will be totally worth it. Show me something I haven't been able to find. I think I have some things to offer, I'm hoping there is still an available, great guy out there totally worth me. I don't want to be all about my career anymore. I've proved to the world I can do what some people think a silly blond can't do. Now I want a man to help me concentrate on a family. Holiday's just aren't big enough for me now.

Ideal Person:
First of all, if there is no physical attraction then we can only be friends. Looks are important, but that's just what gets it all started. Second, you absolutely have to make me laugh! Life is way too serious. I'm typically attracted to tall, dark haired men in their 30's who are great with children and aren't ONLY looking to have fun. I have been kind of picky, but having a child, I have to be, right? If you fit a little, most or all of this description I would love to meet you. (Of course you don't have to have dark hair or any at all for me to be attracted though!)

One thing I dislike is guys that look in the mirror more than I do. You can be good looking without being too concerned about it. If you have unresolved anger management or controlling issues, I would rather not help you through them, been there. On the other hand I do love a man totally in charge, confident but not too****. If you can't take no for an answer, don't online date, it happens, don't be offended I'm not. I also prefer guys less emotional than I am. I like a guy to be stronger than me in every way; mentally, emotionally, physically...Seriously, that's not too hard to do. ;) Also, don't stop here if you are the type that needs more than one woman, or you're already married. I seriously don't like to share. If you are newly seperated, please don't use me as your rebound. Have a little respect.

Here's just a little follow up on my experience here so far...I think I've been on POF about a week or so now. Not sure how many guys are actually reading my profile, as I am getting quite a few six-pac shots, which of course is pretty hot. Maybe I will make my own 2009 calendar of all of you ;) so keep them coming. I do appreciate a nice body, but it doesn't sustain what I am looking for. Give me some more info! Don't want kids? Ok send me a pic for my new calendar. Some of you are certainly too old for me. No disrespect, I just don't know if we will have that much in common. Then there are those that leave me with a little more than a sentence. I do appreciate the compliments and would hate for you to take my lack of response personally, but you really have to give me something to respond to.

If you aren't interested in kids...read my profile! I have one. She's almost 10 and actually we would both love to have an awesome male role model in her life. Every little girl needs a man who loves her more than anything. I was lucky enough to get that from my stepdad. I'll admit her dad's not good enough for her. She has wanted and deserved more than what he could give for years, but even for her I won't "just settle." I do feel guilty I haven't given her that yet though. It may sound to some of you that I'm on a mission, I'm not, I'm just ready. You may get a vibe that I'm a little shy at first...I just have to figure out if I can trust you. After that I'm not shy at all.
