I believe that a profile is not a chance to brag, but to be honest & try to give a gift of who we think we are to our potential mate. On that note... here is who I THINK I am, though I am corrected daily!

An Artist, a Dreamer, a Lover, a Friend... With my feet firmly planted in the clouds!

ARTIST:
I'm a sculptor & painter who is lucky enough to be able to leave the business world and create my own business with my art with the time it takes to build it up.

SINGER:
I toured Europe singing at 16 then went on to have a short lived band in my 20s. Been too busy with kids, work & the 18yr plan for school since then, but still think singing around a campfire would really rock! And if you can sing, or wow... teach me to play a guitar... rockin!

DREAMER:
I love to fix & build things, explore, garden & dance (hawai'ian). I'm not political in the slightest and rarely watch the news or read the paper. However I am an avid book reader. When in the mood its not unusual to read 1-3 per week. I've even written a few books, although I've not had the inclination to search for a publisher. I thought the challenge was in the writing, not getting it published! Oh well!! Maybe someday! And yes, they are girly books! lol... But I CAN hold my side of an inteligent conversation too!!

LOVER:
I'll never get enough of the ocean, nor the mountains so pleasing me can be pretty easy sometimes!! I'm moody like every good artist tends to be, but I'm not nasty mean! I do have a temper but I have to be backed into a corner for it to burst forth! (I'm workin on not letting stuff fester) I've been told my eyes change from blue to dark gray in moments of temper or passion. must be the artist in me! My favorite place in the world is the Pacific Ocean along the california coast where all my passions are matched if not overwhelmed. Love should have that kind of passion in every glance & breath.

FRIEND:
I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, cringe & often grieve at what some humans are capable of; appreciate honesty above all else; have been called naive or clueless at times, but I have absolutely no patience for people who think they are better than someone else. Whether its lifestyle, pate, race, religion or weight... I don't understand! Would you REALLY want everyone to be paper doll cut outs? Why can't people just accept the differences in life that make it so exciting? Who are we to judge others? Dunno... but Seriously, if you come to me with these prejudices, you may count on a reaction! Keep your prejudices to yourself!

A PERFECT WORLD: Ya know, I see a lot of people saying stuff like don't contact me if you're... lol.. its funny, cuz I have things that gross me out too, I ain't gonna lie! And lines I won't cross. But to define someone's character by trite things... dunno! I should not be defined by my weight!! I am so much more than that! (ok, no wisecracks!) Seriously,I'd prefer someone who has more than one line on his profile; writes me a letter with more than one line... But, aside from things that really gross us out, I don't think we have much of a choice in who we fall in love with! We can try to control it but mother nature has a peculiar way of messin with us! I like muscles, knowledge, conversation, lots of humor & hair! Will I date a guy without hair or any of the above? OF COURSE! Why would I limit my chances of a true fulfilling love? lmao... I may indeed fall for someone who may lack every one of those top choices! But he'll be one who I admire for other reasons than his muscles & hair! And you know what? love changes all the rules! Its formed in the mind, not just chemistry... that stuff can fade. I realize now that I have no control over who grabs my attention!! I just really hope he has teeth and brushes em regular cuz I want him to taste as good as he looks to me! I KNOW he will think the sun sets behind me & I will know he is the best thing since Ice Cream... I'll willingly let him eat crackers in bed!!
