It never ceases to amaze me how many of us are doing the online dating thing... but, it's nice to know that I'm certainly not alone! I'm a pretty simple girl looking for companionship, romance, and yeah, love. I don't think everyone's a match, but it's definitely worth the try to see if there's that "special something" there. I work hard during the week as an educator, and on the weekends I like to occupy my time with friends, family, and lots of fun & relaxation. First dates are tricky because you want to allow enough time to get to know each other, but do not want it to be the marathon date that you feel drags on forever, especially if there's no "click" between the two of you! I am a fan of coffee/tea for a first date, or perhaps even a wine bar. You can easily get to know someone over a cup or glass of something... and you can linger, or chug that baby down, depending on the circumstances! I'm a hopeful, however, so I always plan on lingering over a good cup of coffee getting to know each other and appreciating the conversation.
