I'm fun loving, caring and considerate. I enjoy books, the theater, movies, being outside on a beautiful day and football. I look for honesty and integrity in a person and they must have a great sense of humor. If you can't laugh at life, you are probably an unhappy person. I have two great grown children and enjoy spending time with them. I have a large group of friends who do charity work, travel and party together. I have a senior in college at home at this time, but expect he will be on his own within the next year. My son has a cat that lives with us, but I would like to get a dog eventually. I would like to do more volunteer work in 2009 to give back to the community.

My first date could be a quite setting, someplace with great ambience, but a place where my date and I could talk and share. This date could even be a quiet evening at home, sitting by the fire, sharing a great bottle of wine and playing cards or a board game. Or this first date could include a lovely romantic dinner and movie. If my date were so inclined, I love the water and any place near a beach would be an acceptable date to me. I guess my point is that I am open to enjoying various venues and it’s not so much where we go, but the content of the experience. I have spent the past five years of my life letting go of my past and looking to the future and I am looking for a person who is at the same stage of their life and looking for a serious relationship. Soul mate is a word that comes to my mind. My life is very full and I do not want to spend time dating just for the sake of dating. I am looking for a fulfilling relationship, not necessarily marriage, but someone who knows how to enjoy life!
