Divorced after 18 yrs or marriage; I am 6'5", 43yrs old, young at heart and am a big teddy bear:) (you must like big guys) I enjoy my career as a Sr. Lab Technician in the Quality Assurance Department for a Major Company in Oxnard, California. I spent 9 yrs in the Navy as an Aviation Electrician and Aircrewman learning the skills that have helped me to become the successful, well adjusted individual I am today.

I am a fun loving guy and sometimes I can be a big kid…but I do have a serious side when it’s needed. Do not take my casual, good natured attitude as complacency...if it should matter or matters to you it will matter to me.

I am man of strong convictions, was taught these values by my Father (a career Navy man and fantastic Dad) and truly believe that a man should do all in his power to love and take care of his Woman and Family; some call it Chivalry, Gallantry or just being a Gentleman but being polite to a woman and putting her first is how it should be done...always. Standing when She comes to the table, opening a door for her or even a perfect stranger, asking about her day or just saying 'I am thinking about you' it may sound corny to some, but I do seriously believe in that sort of thing. I am looking to become a Friend, Confidant, Protector and Lover to that special someone and take all of those very seriously too.

I spend my free time with my 13yr old daughter (who lives with my Ex. the majority of the time) including helping with Softball & Soccer (played both most of my life). I love going to the movies, taking rides on my motorcycle, tinkering with my classic '74 BMW, exploring new places or just relaxing at home watching a TV or DVD. Would also love to get back on the golf course after a bit of a hiatus.
I am a work in progress and I am trying to get back in shape (hopefully back to my Navy physique) after convincing myself to do so and that I now live somewhere that has a Gym. Like i said, I am not where i want to be (physically) but, hopefully that wouldn’t really matter the the 'right' woman.

I Have lived all over the US, grew up in Hawai’i and have been practically around the world (including living in Spain for 2yrs) during my time in the Navy. I would say that traveling is something I really enjoy and would love to do again with special someone (Italy would be so much better that way). For now, a nice day trip in the car or on the motorcycle will suffice; exploring unknown and new places is a fabulous way to spend quality time together.

When it comes to music, I am a huge fan; there are at least 1975 songs on my ipod ranging from Classical to New Age and everything in between…except country (there are only maybe 10 cross over country songs on there). My favorite Genre would be 80's Music, I was in High School, MTV was new and you couldn’t wait to get that new tape or record from the store! 80’s music trivia anyone? :)

Hoping to find a Woman that isn't afraid to be a Woman, Feminine or Girly…she is comfortable in jeans, a pair of shorts and tennies, will wear 4 or 5" high heels for her man on those ‘special’ occasions or 'just because', gets her nails done, wears make-up, likes to take her man shopping (it’s a great way to spend time together and possibly go to the 'Good' stores;)) or just hanging out cuddling watching TV or a Movie on the Plasma...A combination of Femininity and Tomboy, plus not afraid to initiate things (on occasion) would be great. Maybe a 60/40 percentage with even just a little Bad girl in there too (of course there is always something called compromise).

If she likes some of the things I am interested in (motorcycles, classic European cars, movies, theater & sports) would be a big plus. The enjoyment of going to a play, musical, opera, a concert or maybe a live sporting event together would make life that more pleasurable:) She also loves being intimate with her man every chance she gets;) I can only hope she is out there to find and I hope She is searching for someone like Me.
This woman loves showing affection in public, holding hands or giving that flirtatious 'more where that came from' kind of kiss. I am looking for a tingle, a spark or butterflies when I see her, she talks or sends me nice text messages; please be attractive (to me…this means a Picture), spontaneous, creative (not conservative behind closed doors), exciting, very playful, fun, passionate, sexy, more than occasionally naughty, honest, caring, and have a sense of humor.

My goal is to find that true 'Friend' that shortly blossoms into something 'special and amazing', she would be accepting of who I am as I would her and that I do equally cherish my time with her as much as I do with my daughter. I would hope for her to become a 'friend' to my daughter and maybe even a 'Mentor'...she has a great Mom so there is no worry about replacing her...(I am not afraid of marrying again but definitely not a requirement). I have an awesome daughter and do not plan on having another child, the doctor has taken care of that for me. if this is an issue, then you are not the 'right' woman for me.

I am wondering if there is such a woman out there...at the moment, it doesn’t seem so. However, I am an optimist so, i keep trying and maybe the 'right' one will read and reply:)
